Owner & Executive Chef
Jim “Jimmy T” Tilton has over 28 years experience in the restaurant and catering industry. A transplant from the Midwest, Jim owned and operated a successful fine dining restaurant in Kansas City for 15 years. Jim Moved to the West Coast in 2001 and has been catering in the Sacramento area ever since.
Jimmy likes to grow as much fresh produce as possible; here are some of his fresh-grown tomatoes.
Tim graduated from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts with honors. He trained as a sous chef with several talented and respected mentors. Tim has done consulting with several restaurants, developing their menus, and getting their business on the right track. In addition to this he started cooking privately for a select clientele. Realizing there was a great opportunity to showcase his work in an intimate setting while providing a chance for the host to enjoy their own event, he started working with Jimmy T’s Event Catering Service.
Teresa has been a long time staff member and handles bookings, quotes, wedding and elegant staging of events. She is the party planner of Jimmy T’s.
Ben’s background is actually in Physical Therapy, but he assists Jim on various catering events and has been working with Jimmy T’s on a part-time basis since 2004.
Sara is a part timer who loves to help out when shes available. She works for a top 5 CPA firm but enjoys the rewards of catering. She often helps out with large events and or weddings.
James left us for a month for a great internship opportunity in another state and has recently just returned. We are glad that he’s back!
While Annie isn’t your typical caterer, she excels at customer service, and her enthusiastic personality shines through. Annie has been working with Jim since 2008.

Daniel has been a huge asset to Jimmy T’s since his arrival in March. He handles staging, setup and some food prep.

Ryker is our newest staff member and has been an asset to the company. Ryker currently handles setup, deliveries and cleanups for many of our events.
Alana is a transplant from Hawaii who came to California for her education. She has been working closely with Jim since April of 2012 and has a keen interest in the foodservice industry.
